I never thought I would spend $146 on crib bedding, but when I seen this I had to have it. Honestly, I think I would have been better off spending my money elsewhere. The thread count is low, the color you see in the picture of the light blue isn’t really a baby blue at all, but a dull ugly blue, or as my husband calls it, an “old lady blue”. It’s pretty for pictures in really bright light and from far away, but up close the stitching is sorry. Just tieing the bumper to the rails, 2 of the ties came off. The loop at the top of the diaper holder was the same way, within 24 hours of owning it, that came off as well. Would have returned it except we were moving when it arrived and as hectic as things were, I figured I would just stick with it for a while, however I definatley will not be referring anyone to it.

We wanted something that was for a boy but not to cartoonish or silly. Wedidn’t want something too “babyish”, and as my husband loves sailing and fishing, this was a perfect design. The quilt has hand stitching around it, and the colors are beautiful. The items are also made with 100% cotton, which I like. It may wrinkle easily, but it is best for the baby’s skin. The quilt and the bumper are thin, but considering that most literature recommends that one should not use these items in the crib due to SIDS dangers, I am comfortable with that. It fits perfectly around my crib. I would say to wash it in cold gentle cycle to keep it looking great. Why not 5 stars? The thread count of the cotton isn’t all that high, so it isn’t luxury, but I am in love with it all the same.

I purchased this from a popular auction site (you know the one). After one washing, the stitching started to come loose, and it just feels cheapy. Not at all worth full price by any stretch of the imagination.

Good looking set and it matches the theme for our nursery, but close inspection reveals its many flaws.

I just received this bedding set today. I purchased it for $50 at a popular auction site. For $50 I think the set is fine, but I would be returning it had I paid a penny more. Why? Because the overall quality is poor. The bumper, though I had no problems with it fitting in my crib, is very flat and the ties don’t line up at the corners of the crib. The quilt is also very flat. On the plus side, this set is very very cute. If you’re not looking for something to use with multiple children, this could work for you. I’m keeping my set because it looks nice, we won’t be using it for that long, and I didn’t pay much for it.
